Nordic Conference on Violent Extremism
The R2COM project was present at the 2024 Nordic Conference on Violent Extremism, which took place in July 2025, in Oslo, Norway.
Among several researchers and experts in radicalisation prevention, the R2COM project was represented by its Portuguese partner, IPS_Innovative Prison Systems.
During a 20-minute presentation, the R2COM project, and, in specific, the outcomes of its Project Results 4 were discussed.
By presenting the TV-RAT (Transitioning Vulnerabilities to Radicalisation Assessment Tool), it was highlighted how radicalisation and extremist engagement are complex phenomena, dependent on an interaction between individual and environmental factors, which should both be encompassed in comprehensive assessment schemes.
